The «RoboBattle 48» robotics hackathon of Riga Technical University (RTU) Science and Innovation Centre, where dozens of robotics enthusiasts competed in building robots for 48 hours, was a success with a combat robot tournament and a robot design competition.
The transition from the known reality to the unknown, sustainable textile processing technologies, ecological solutions and other contemporary clothing and design trends will be presented in the showcase of clothing collections created by students of Riga Technical University Institute of Architecture and Design (RTU ADI) and the design and architecture exhibition «R:ADI TU». The exhibition will open on 23 May at 16.00 at ADI, Kipsalas iela 6, 2nd floor, and the fashion show at 18.00 at the Drawing Room, 4th floor.
Educational synergy between five universities from Armenia, three from European Union, including, Riga Technical University (RTU), have joined the knowledge under the umbrella of the SMARTI project consortium. The project started back in 2021 and, due to several force majeures, has been extended and is now reaching its final phase – the last couple of months to reflect on what has been achieved and to pave a stable way towards the future. The project has been co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union, with the main aim of supporting Armenian universities in the development of English Medium Instruction (EMI) methodologies.
