RMIT Professor Matthew Warren visits RTU

On the 23rd of April, Matthew (Matt) Warren, Director of the RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia) Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation and Professor of Cyber Security at RMIT University, visited RTU. Professor Warren, a renowned researcher in Cyber Security and Computer Ethics, engaged with RTU on collaborative efforts in these critical fields.

One of the focal points of Professor Warren's visit was the forthcoming study programme "Digital Public Governance," currently in development at RTU in collaboration with various universities, including RMIT. Professor Warren's expertise aligns closely with the programme's objectives, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in shaping the future of governance in the digital era.

During his visit, Professor Warren has met the leadership of RTU, paid a visit to the Institute of Information Technologies, Science and Innovations Centre and Fiber Optical Transmission Systems Laboratory.

The next meeting between RMIT and RTU is scheduled to take place in September 2024.
