2nd year in the row Riga Technical University (RTU) in close co-operation with Baltic HPC Association is organizing 2nd Baltic HPC & Cloud Computing Conference in Riga on 12th – 13th September, 2013.
Nowadays HPC (High Performance Computing) has become an instrument of 3rd generation university (3GU) successful development and growth in contemporary research and government economics, as well as in the policies of energetics, climate, health care, economics, social and security. HPC systems are being developed to solve efficiently important social and scientific problems, as well as to promote innovative entrepreneurship. HPC has vital value for the implementation of the strategy «Europe 2020».
The Conference will consist of reports and newest research presentations about current issues in HPC field in Europe and all over the world presented by leading Latvian and foreign experts, scientists and businessmen.
We are happy to announce our new format of Preconference workshops for Matlab, Cuda, Cisco, Rittal and Comsol on 10th–11th September, 2013.
