A cooperation agreement between Riga Technical University (RTU) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) has been signed on the 17th of March, 2014.
During the VGTU delegation visit to RTU representatives of both universities agreed upon the creation of two joint Master’s degree programmes – «Innovative Solutions in Geomatics» and «Innovative Road and Bridge Engineering». Both agreements will be enforced within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the corresponding structural unit of VGTU – Faculty of Environmental Engineering.
As a result of the agreements signed students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering (RTU) as well as academic and administrative staff will gain the opportunity of exchanging experience an obtaining knowledge in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering (VGTU) and vice versa.
