In November 2015, State Education Development Agency approved RTU project EEZ/NFI/S/2015/006 «Student and Academic Staff Mobility within the EEA Grant Scholarship Activity (Mechanics)». It allows for students and academic staff members that are involved in mechanics field to go for short or long-term mobilities to University of Iceland, as well as welcome representatives of the partner university in Latvia.

So far the mobilities have not been used, which is why we kindly invite to all the representatives from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Transport and Aeronautics to apply for the unique possibility to visit University of Iceland and share the best practices of RTU abroad, as well as being a part of experience exchange between the institutions.

To apply for the mobilities, it is needed to contact International Relations department in RTU Administrative building (Kalku Street 1, room 312), where more detailed information and technicalities will be explained. Academic staff mobilities take up to 2 weeks with a scholarship of 1880 EUR, meanwhile student mobilities are planned for the period of 5 months and for each month a scholarship of 1200 EUR will be given to students. If there will be such need, then study fee can be covered up to 1000 EUR.
