If you are masters or PhD student in engineering or science, it is the right time to come out of your laboratories and show the world what you are doing!
We give 10 minutes on the stage for you to present your field of studies, your daily study process and the results already archived. It can be a presentation, story, song, movie or something elseyour imagination can create and fit in 10 minutes time.
«ResearchSlam»are contest for master and PhD students to show their research fields and study programs. The main point is to show «presentation» in more interesting way and get the biggest cheers from audience. The contest inRiga Technical University is organized second time and the idea is get from Finland enterprise ScienceSlam.
«ResearchSlam» will be held in two rounds. Submitted applications (deadline – 5th March) will be evaluated by a jury, and to the first selection round 12 Masters Students (18th April) and 12 PhD students (25th April) with the highest scores from the jury will be invited.
The criteria for getting to the finals will be the presentation`s content and the presentation`s attractiveness. Your presentation will be judged by the audience`s cheermeasurements in decibels: the more exciting your Presentation, the louder cheers and applause + amount of the jury's evaluation will give abetter chance to reach the finals and compete for the final prize.

Prize fund – Ls 4000. The main prize is MacBook Air.
