The AirScout are delighted to invite students, faculty, and all interested parties to a special online guest lecture titled «Drones in Construction». The guest lecture will take place on June 6, 4.30 PM, on Zoom. To attend this insightful event, please fill out the registration form.

Lecture will be led by Boriss Andrejevs, MEng in Civil Engineering and professional RPAS pilot/operator with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.  This lecture will dive into the revolutionary applications of drones within the construction sector. Participants will learn about the various stages of drone applications in construction projects—from initial design to maintenance. The session will highlight how drones contribute to increasing efficiency and fostering innovation in these sectors.

AirScout has been at the forefront of integrating UAV technology into construction, offering advanced services such as 2D and 3D modeling, BIM, laser scanning, and thermal mapping. With ongoing operations spanning multiple projects, AirScout continues to push the boundaries of drone technology, enhancing project management and operational efficiency in construction contexts.

After the lecture, participants will have the opportunity to sign up for participation in different ongoing AirScout side projects, such as the development of autonomous drone navigation systems or anti-drone systems.
