Study Security Deposit Refund

To request your study security deposit after graduating:

1. Download the Refund request form;
2. Fill in your details (electronically);
3. Print it out and sign it (by hand):
4. Scan it and send it to *.

*If you are NOT the account holder, please complete the Friend request form electronically, sign it by hand, and submit it along with your Refund Request form.

The security deposit will not be refunded if the student has failed to fulfil all contractual obligations with RTU or any RTU affiliates, and/or has violated the laws of the Republic of Latvia. If applicable, the following fees might be deducted from the Security Deposit: residence permit / visa processing fee, document legalisation fee, accommodation deposit, postal expenses, bank transfer fees, insurance, or other expenses.

Refunds will be processed after the student has graduated and submitted the request form.

Important!

• Make sure the recipient bank accepts international payments
• All bank transfer fees are covered by the student.
• Transfers can take up to 21 business days.
