Visa/Residence Permit Refusal

If you have received a visa or residence permit refusal while in your country of residence, RTU will terminate your study agreement and refund the unused fees and security deposit.

To request a refund:

1. Download the Refund request form;
2. Fill in your details (electronically);
3. Print it out and sign it (by hand);
4. Scan it and send it to .*

*If you are NOT the account holder, please complete the Friend request form electronically, sign it by hand, and submit it along with your Refund Request form.

Refunds will be processed after the student has submitted the request form and the university has received confirmation from the Latvian embassy about the student’s visa refusal.

Important!

• Make sure the recipient bank accepts international payments
• All bank transfer fees are covered by the student.
• Transfers can take up to 21 business days.
